Our Story

Rooted in Sumter

For over four decades, Jefferson Barns and Lumber has been the cornerstone of construction supply in Sumter and the surrounding communities. What started as a family commitment to quality has grown into the region's most trusted source for building materials.

We don't just stack lumber — we help you build with confidence. Every board, every shingle, every mix is selected with the same care we'd bring to our own projects. That's the standard our customers expect and the one we refuse to compromise on.
